° Program instructor/coordinator for facility Nurse Aide Training Program.
° Creates lesson plans containing objectives, course content, method of instruction and evaluation for the Nurse Aide Training Program.
° Obtain copies of CNA certification and re-certifications.
° Coordinate and implement orientation for new employees.
° Plans, coordinates, and conducts regular in-service education programs for all staff.
° Participates in Quality Assurance tracking of program and nursing service personnel.
° Prepare and circulate monthly in-service calendar to all employees.
° Coordinate and monitor employee health program which includes; annual physical, administer PPD, and coordinate health information for the Medical Director.
° Monitor and maintain in-service and education training records for all staff.
° Monitor compliance of all employees to adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
° Coordinates and maintains records for CPR certification and renewals for all licensed personnel.
° Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
