Nursing Education Coordinator designs and conducts educational programs for nursing staff. Coordinates orientation programs for new staff members, develops programs to keep existing staff up-to-date, and acts as general resource for nursing personnel. Being a Nursing Education Coordinator evaluates the program results and competencies of nursing staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Coordinator typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires RN license. The Nursing Education Coordinator contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. STAFFING COORDINATOR/SCHEDULER
Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is actively seeking a Staffing Coordinator with prior experience, excellent communication and organizational skills to work Full-Time for our Skilled Nursing Facility (Nursing and Rehab Center).
Duties:
- Creating work rotations & schedules
- Ensuring shifts are fully staffed
- Understand the staffing requirements, anticipates over/understaffed situations and coordinates appropriate remedy with minimal supervision
- Partners with Nurse Managers/Supervisor leadership to help forecast and anticipate future staffing needs
- Tracking Open Positions for Recruitment
- Call potential candidates and setup interviews
- Answering phones & dealing with high call volume
- Tracking and addressing attendance & lateness
Requirements:
- Pleasant disposition and a positive attitude
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook is required
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent time management & prioritization skills required
- Experience coordinating general office workflow activities
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to learn
