Job Title: Community Education – Youth Center Coordinator
Job Description: This position will organize and lead the afterschool Youth Center at the Faribault Education Center. The Youth Center will provide enrichment clubs, homework help, and connections to community opportunities to Faribault students in grades 9-12.
Responsibilities include: Scheduling clubs; reserving space; recruiting and hiring staff; developing registration materials; overseeing daily programming; and tracking program data. Other duties as assigned.
This Extended Contract grant-funded position will pay $12,000 for the 2022-23 school year. The coordinator will work approximately 12 hours per week afterschool, Monday-Thursday, from September 19, 2022, through May 18, 2023, at the Faribault Education Center.
Qualifications: Five or more years of experience working with youth in an education, enrichment, after school program, or other related area required. Highly organized with superior attention to detail. Preferred qualifications – Extensive knowledge of the Faribault community.
