Reports to

Education Manager

Summary/Objective

The education coordinator is responsible for assisting the Education Manager in planning and implementing the educational curriculum that creates an effective learning experience for our clients. 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Demonstrate application, care and styling of Jon Renau products
  
• Coordinate across all departments to ensure all project deliverables and timelines are met 
• Provide coaching, support, and development to multiple levels of learners  
• Supports and participates in all content creation for the education department, including photo shoots, videos, etc. 
• Manage all education inventory and education warehouse.  
• Responsible for coordination of supplies, setup, packing and shipping materials, print needs for Education Department events 
• Coordinate and/or participate in Shows, Conferences, and events 
• Present and Speak in public at trade shows & education events
  
• Acts as a liaison between the Education Department and Sales team to support all customer service issues and questions 
• Assess and evaluate the results of training and education events and support to drive client sales and minimize returns 
• Manage Education Dept expenses reports and budgets for events

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Shifts vary 7:30 – 4:00, 8:00 – 4:40, 8:30 – 5:00. Based on business/client needs. Overtime may be required, on occasion, including weekends and evenings.

Travel

Travel maybe required for client visits, seminars and trainings.

Required Education and Experience

· Licensed Cosmetologist required 

· 1-2 years of successful teaching experience 

· Have some knowledge and experience on alternative hair

• The successful candidate will be a confident and poised public speaker
• Must be comfortable being on camera for marketing and educational videos
• Exceptional customer service skills with the highest level of professionalism 
• Confident leader in delivering product education 
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change 
• High-level attention to detail and accuracy in execution of work and tasks 
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills
