Nursing Education Coordinator designs and conducts educational programs for nursing staff. Coordinates orientation programs for new staff members, develops programs to keep existing staff up-to-date, and acts as general resource for nursing personnel. Being a Nursing Education Coordinator evaluates the program results and competencies of nursing staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Coordinator typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires RN license. The Nursing Education Coordinator contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Temporary Nursing Assistant Qualifications:
- Temporary Nursing Assistant Certificate 8 HR Course Prior to January 11,2022
- Basic computer skills
Temporary Nursing Assistant Duties:
- Recording vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse rate, as requested by staff
- Reminding patients to take medications and other nutritional supplements as needed
- The ability to think and work independently, with direction from a team leader or manager, while maintaining efficient and consistent communications at all times
- Provide adjunct patient care as needed. This can include delivering ice packs and dressings to help relieve pain while in therapy or baths for soothing purposes after their session has ended
- Process a wide range of information from other professionals and work with physicians, caregivers, and nurses
- Closely monitor and record food intake, as well as urinary and fecal output, to be shared with key medical and nursing staff
