Oversees the design and implementation of curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Nursing Education Director evaluates the department's performance and ensures that all federal and state regulatory requirements are met. Requires a master's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Director requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Nursing Education Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. BLNRC is seeking a Full-Time Director of Nursing (DON). Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program and currently licensed in North Dakota as a Registered Nurse (RN). Ideal candidate would have training/experience in geriatric nursing and previous supervisory experience. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and have a desire to work with the aged as well as the team of nurses, CNA's, and all other departments here at Bethel.
Status will be salaried/exempt.
