Being a Nursing Education Director evaluates the department's performance and ensures that all federal and state regulatory requirements are met. Requires a master's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Director requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Nursing Education Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Nursing Education Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     What you’ll do:

    The Director of Special Education works as a staff member of the Education Department team. Primarily responsible for Special Education Compliance and Services across the organization. The Director of Special Education reports to the National Director of Education. Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Schedule may vary or be adjusted due to business demand or unforeseen circumstances. Occasional evenings and/or weekends may be required for special events or project completion. Travel may be required for this position.


    To be considered, you should:

    • MA required along with Certification and experience in Special Education.
    • Certification in Administration and Supervision or Educational Leadership.
    • Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience.
    • Minimum of three (3) years in special education.
    • Experience and knowledge of Special Education Law (IDEA).
    • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
