Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and provide the highest quality of care
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for residents
- Monitor resident health status, including conducting assessments, administering medications, and providing treatments as needed
- Ensure accurate documentation of resident care and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Foster a culture of resident-centered care, promoting resident rights and dignity at all times
- Oversee infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases within the facility
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care
- Stay updated on current trends and advancements in nursing practices, attending conferences or workshops as necessary

Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of Minnesota

- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in senior care
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
- Leadership experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Proficient in developing care plans and implementing evidence-based practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with privacy standards
