Oversees the design and implementation of curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Nursing Education Director evaluates the department's performance and ensures that all federal and state regulatory requirements are met. Requires a master's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Director requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Nursing Education Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Nursing Education Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Science classes in our Nursing Program. This is a part-time professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Nursing. The primary responsibility will be to teach General Science courses. The typical teaching load is two courses each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
