Nursing Education Director leads and directs the overall planning, development, and administration of nursing education programs. Oversees the design and implementation of curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Nursing Education Director evaluates the department's performance and ensures that all federal and state regulatory requirements are met. Requires a master's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Director requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Nursing Education Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Nursing Education Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.   • We are seeking a dedicated Co-Director to join our team. The Co-Director will play a crucial role in overseeing program development, managing relationships, and supervising staff to ensure the effective operation of our organization.

    Main Job Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the day-to-day center operations in line with State of Kansas child care licensing guidelines
    • Supervise staff members and provide guidance and support
    • Recruit qualified staff, interview, onboard and train candidates
    • Oversee program management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
    • Ability to be flexible in your role and complete job duties of absent staff
    • Build strong relationships with currently enrolled families and serve as a resource responding to questions and concern
    • Maintain the records and files for staff and children
    • Responsible for enrollment, tours, and marketing
    • Utilize behavioral health and social work principles in decision-making
    • Perform administrative tasks to support organizational operations
    • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

    Qualifications:

    To be qualified for this position, we require a bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education or related field AND previous management/leadership experience in a licensed childcare facility.

    • Conduct staff training, coaching and professional development
    • Experience in budgeting and financial management
    • Excellent administrative skills for organizational support
