Associate Director of Nursing
Duties:
-Acts as facility's Infection Preventionist
- Assist with the oversight and management all aspects of nursing operations within the organization.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Medicare regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and improve overall healthcare delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary training programs.
- Manage budgetary responsibilities, including staffing, supplies, and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in nursing management.
Requirements:
(A) Master’s Degree in Nursing and two (2) years of experience in an administrative nursing position which shall have involved supervising the work of certified, licensed, or registered nursing personnel; OR
(B) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and four (4) years of experience as defined by the limits of (A) above; OR
(C) Graduation from an approved three (3) year school of professional nursing and five (5) years of experience as defined by the limits of (A) above; OR
(D) Associate's Degree in Nursing and six (6) years of experience as defined by the limits of (A) above.
- Must possess and maintain current New York State Registered Professional Nurse registration.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
- Proven ability to problem-solve and make critical decisions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
