The ideal candidate will have a background in long-term care, geriatrics, and/or rehabilitation center nursing and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing staff. The successful candidate will also be required to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure quality patient care, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and promote a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
Lead and direct the nursing staff in providing quality patient care.
Develop and maintain a budget for the nursing department.
Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff.
Ensure that all nursing staff are in compliance with state regulations and standards of practice.
Develop and implement patient care plans for long-term care, rehabilitation, and geriatric patients.
Provide education to patients, families, and staff on topics related to nursing care.
