We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the operations of our nursing home facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in memory care, social work, and home care, as well as exceptional leadership and management abilities. As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents while maintaining compliance with all regulations and resident rights.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the nursing home facility, including staff supervision, financial management, and resident care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversee the hiring, training, and evaluation of staff members
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure appropriate care plans are in place for each resident
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to residents and implement improvements as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care, staff performance, and financial transactions
- Coordinate with external agencies and organizations to provide additional services or resources to residents
- Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid nursing license (RN) strongly preferred
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or long-term care facility
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and analyze financial reports
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, staff members, and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing home facilities
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
