Nursing Home Administrator oversees all activities of a nursing home in accordance with established policies and federal and state guidelines. Develops strategic plans for profitability and is accountable for all operations and programs. Being a Nursing Home Administrator administers, directs and coordinates the business. Recommends and leads changes to improve the nursing home. Additionally, Nursing Home Administrator may require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. May require a state administrator license. The Nursing Home Administrator manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the establishment. Will collaborate with 3rd party to transition current Windemere to a new model of care. Candidates must have great communication skills and excellent analytical skills to thrive. A well-developed interpersonal skill to work with a wide range of personalities from patients, as well as nursing home employees, is a must.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree in health care administration, business administration, finance, or a medical specialty * Current MA licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator with at least 5 years' experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

EXPERIENCE: * Comprehensive knowledge of Long Term Care Medicaid and Medicare regulations and standards. * Proficiency in cost reporting and budget compliance. * Experience working within a nonprofit is preferred. * Strong written and verbal communication skills required. * Experience interacting with patients and the community needed. * Strong leadership skills required. * Must have a strong working knowledge of the aging process of the body to treat patients.
