Nursing Home Administrator jobs in Paramus, NJ

A Skilled Nursing Facility located in Monroe County is seeking a Full Time Assistant Administrator to join our dynamic team of professionals. The Assistant Administrator will provide support as needed to the Administrator in the day to day facility operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Health Care Administration or similiar field
• Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA) a plus but not necessary.  
• Applicants who want to become licensed are welcome to apply
• Experience in a supervisory position in a long term care facility preferred
• Knowledge of NYS DOH LTC Survey guidelines a plus
• Excellent computer skills required, Microsoft word, excel required, PCC software a plus
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all HR functions for both facilities.
• Assist the Administrator in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the facility, its programs and activities.
• Assist department directors in the development and use of departmental policies and procedures
• Ensure that all employees, residents, visitors, and the general public follow established policies and procedures
• Recommend to the Administrator changes in the overall organization structure
• Make weekly inspections of the facility to assure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed.
