Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) jobs in Brockton, MA
Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) directs and conducts the activities of the hospital's nursing home in accordance with established hospital policies. Recommends changes to improve nursing home and reviews ongoing activities. Being a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) communicates with patients to ensure quality care. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically reports to top management. The Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. The Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON) works in concert with the Director Of Nursing to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with Federal, State and facility standards, guidelines and regulations. The primary responsibilities of the ADON include supervising the nursing staff education, infection control, and overseeing patient care as well as administrative functions such as record keeping.
Qualified candidates must possess a current RN nursing license in the Commonwealth of MA. Associates degree from an accredited school is preferred.
