Recommends changes to improve nursing home and reviews ongoing activities. Being a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) communicates with patients to ensure quality care. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically reports to top management. The Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. About Us: At The Arthur Home we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing / Resident Care Coordinator to join our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Provide mentorship and education to nursing staff to enhance professional development.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, and training of nursing personnel.
- Ensure the highest standards of resident care and satisfaction.
- On Call Rotation
Qualifications:
- Valid RN (for ADON) or LPN (for RCC) license in Illinois].
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within a long-term care setting.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
