Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) directs and conducts the activities of the hospital's nursing home in accordance with established hospital policies. Recommends changes to improve nursing home and reviews ongoing activities. Being a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) communicates with patients to ensure quality care. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically reports to top management. The Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Embassy Healthcare is looking for a caring and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to help lead our clinical team!
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plans, organizes, develops, and assists with the direction of the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Company standards. The ADON reports to Director of Nursing (DON).

Job Requirements:
- Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
- Must possess current RN or LPN License and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- At least three years’ experience in nursing administration, including supervision, preferably in a long-term care setting. Knowledgeable about regulations and standards established by Medicare, Medicaid and state and city government.
