Job Description:

As the Director of Nursing (DON), you will be responsible for overseeing all clinical regulatory compliance for both home health and hospice services. You will collaborate closely with attending physicians, patient care teams, and family members to ensure the best possible care outcomes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, participate in quality assurance meetings, and manage and oversee all operations of our home health and hospice programs. Your role will involve education on home health and hospice regulations, development and implementation of new processes and procedures, and establishment of strong relationships within the physician, facility, and community networks.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all clinical regulatory requirements for home health and hospice services.
• Provide input for process improvements and suggestions for enhancing agency processes and outcomes.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement meetings and share responsibilities for improving agency processes and stability.
• Manage and oversee all home health and hospice operations, including survey.
• Educate staff on home health and hospice regulations.
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures to enhance patient care and agency operations.
• Identify, grow, and establish relationships with physicians, facilities, and community organizations.
• Recruit top talent in various disciplines and maintain a commitment to hiring the top 1% of each field.
• Uphold and execute all Elite business philosophies to staff.

Requirements:

• Positive, friendly, and driven with a strong commitment to patient care.
• Current and unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Utah.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and agency-required liability insurance.
• Must be open-minded and teachable.
• Must pass a background check.
