Nursing Services Instructor is responsible for identifying training needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within an assigned area of responsibility. Coordinates in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions. Being a Nursing Services Instructor ensures compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Services Instructor requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Services Instructor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Summary: As the Director of Emergency Services, you'll oversee operations to ensure high-quality patient care. Lead service development, personnel management, and resource allocation to deliver excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and solve real/potential problems affecting service
- Participate in hospital committees, providing ongoing communication
- Advance patient experience agenda in the Emergency Department
- Coach and mentor subordinates, ensuring individual development
- Enforce standards of emergency department care and ensure compliance
- Develop, implement, and evaluate ongoing emergency services program
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards
- Ensure department's operational excellence and quality services delivery
- Support recruitment process to secure staffing talent
Qualifications:
- 🎓 Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree preferred
- 💼 3 years of experience in emergency services and leadership role
- 📝 Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Florida
- 🏥 ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and BLS certifications required
