Do you like to deliver top notch customer service and provide a warm and welcoming environment for clients? We are looking for the right person to join our Clinical team as a Certified Nurses Aid.  

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for direct care to patients under the supervision of the RN. A CNA is responsible for always maintaining a patient’s comfort and safety, documenting care provided within 24 hours. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to selected patients as assigned and demonstrated by the professional staff.
• Performs personal care activities, i.e. bathing, combing hair, oral hygiene, dressing, etc.
• Provides care in accordance with written instructions from Nurses and Therapists.
• Implements the patient's plan of care in compliance with Agency and governmental regulations.
• Provides simple exercises, transfers, and assists with therapy programs when instructed
• Documents all care provided within 24 hours of the visit.
• Reports immediately to supervisor or professional staff any changes in the patient's condition or any problems in assigned tasks.
• Provides emotional support to patients and families.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be COVID vaccinated per state mandate.
• 1-year experience working as a CNA preferred. Home care experience preferred.
• Must have completed an accredited CNA Program.
• Must have a Colorado CNA certificate in good standing (DORA)
• Strong time management and organization skills, including the ability to document care within 24 hours and maintain all credentials (licensure, CPR, educational requirements, etc.).
• Ability to work with electronic medical records system.
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, clients and medical personnel.
• Ability to advocate for and relate to clients/families and their concerns.
