Nursing Services Instructor is responsible for identifying training needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within an assigned area of responsibility. Coordinates in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions. Being a Nursing Services Instructor ensures compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Services Instructor requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Services Instructor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Part time faculty are responsible for teaching requested Nursing clinical rotations. We are recruiting for the following clinical areas: RN Skills Lab and Clinical in Acute Care and Long Term Care Settings. Teaching assignments will include on-site clinical instruction at multiple healthcare facilities and may include day, evening, and weekend classes. Part-time faculty must be able to work collegially in a team environment. This is a temporary, non-benefits eligible position. Employment is determined on a course to course, semester to semester basis.
Salary Range:
The pay for this position in an acute care setting is your hourly hospital pay rate. For skills or simulation lab on campus, the rate is $27.50 per hour.
