Job Summary and Qualifications:

• 🛡️ Assure high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
• 🏥 Advance the patient experience agenda
• 💼 Coach and develop subordinates, provide feedback, and facilitate individual development plans
• 🌟 Monitor compliance with regulatory and hospital policies
• 💼 Oversee a PI program and ensure operational excellence
• 🌍 Facilitate evidence-based employee engagement practices
• 🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required, Master’s degree preferred
• 💼 3-5 years of ED Leadership experience required
• 📜 Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice required
• 🌟 Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure consistent high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Participate in service, departmental, and hospital-wide committees, providing ongoing communication and representation.
• Advance the patient experience agenda and coach subordinates for individual development.
• Monitor compliance with Human Resource policies and ensure effective communication of departmental, organizational, and industry information.
• Facilitate evidence-based employee engagement practices and build strong relationships to deliver organizational goals.
• Oversee the PI program, monitor regulatory compliance, and ensure operational excellence in the department.

Position Details:

• 🏥 133 bed hospital with a 20 bed ER (and growing) 11 bed FSED
• 🌟 Eligible for 15% Director Bonus Incentive
• 💼 Eligible for SIRVA Relocation Package
• 📈 Midpoint salary: $124,966.40
• 🚀 Sign-on bonus negotiable
