Nursing Supervisor (LPN or RN)

Seeking a Nursing Supervisor for our Primary Care of Elizabethton Office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure adequate nursing personnel coverage and reassign nursing personnel to cover unexpected absences or clinic needs.
• Assign/Approve time off usage in compliance with attendance policies.
• Conduct nursing staff meetings.
• Order/maintain clinic supplies.
• Perform peer reviews; promote/demote.
• Collaborate with providers in assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients.
• Maintain patient flow by escorting patients to and from.
• Accurately record patient data, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, medication, and reason for the visit.
• Administers subcutaneous, intramuscular injection and IV therapy.
• Obtain blood specimens.
• Clean and sterilize exam or procedure rooms.
• Request and evaluate lab tests.
• Inform patient of results per doctor’s orders.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

EXPERIENCE:

• Five years or more in clinical nursing required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Licensed as a Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
