Nursing Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel in patient care units. Participates in planning work of assigned units and coordinates activities with other patient care units and related departments. Being a Nursing Supervisor ensures that patients' needs are met and evaluates unit nursing care and performance. Monitors patient recordkeeping activities for accuracy, completion and compliance with all regulations. Additionally, Nursing Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree of nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires certification as a registered nurse (RN). The Nursing Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. We are looking to hire a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Supervisor who is looking to oversee and manage pediatric in-home (Registered Nurse) RNs and (Licensed Practical Nurse) LPNs throughout the state of Michigan. This nursing manager position would require travel to client's homes to provide our nurses ongoing supervision and training as needed. Our RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of client care services through coordination, implementation, supervision of the client's plan of care and supervision of staff delivering nursing care. The right candidate for this position would share responsibilities for the agency’s overall compliance with State and Federal guidelines and standards of private duty nursing practice.
Our homecare RNs and LPNs provide an array of skilled care to each pediatric client, according to their physician-approved plan of care. We work alongside other disciplines involved in our clients care to ensure they are receiving the services they need to maintain or improve their health.
