Performs duties essentially of personal care which might be given to convalescent, chronically ill or disabled persons in their homes. Attempts in every possible way, in working with individuals and families, to assist them to assume responsibilities toward self-care. Helps the well family members to carry their share of the responsibilities and encourages the disabled member to participate in the life of the family, in so far as able. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. The ability to see and hear within normal parameters/ranges.

Licensing, Certification(s), Testing

• Valid Colorado nurse license
• Current CPR 1st aid certification
• Current tuberculosis testing per state federal regulations
• Complete five on-line classes

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
