The Sepsis Coordinator oversees the Sepsis program in collaboration with clinical coordinator. Assists the sepsis team in managing effectiveness of service operations for all sepsis patients for Mission Hospital both Mission campus and Laguna Beach campus. The Sepsis Coordinator practices as an expert resource.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 3 years Registered Nurse experience.
• Nursing leadership experience, i.e. charge nurse, senior level nurse, RRT/Sepsis nurse.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing or Administration, Hospital or Health Services Administration, or Business Administration.
• 3 years Health care experience in project coordination encompassing operations analysis, outcomes measurements methodology, data management and system quality improvement.
