Nursing Supervisor - Nursing Home supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel in a nursing home. Participates in planning work of assigned units and coordinates activities with other patient care units and related departments. Being a Nursing Supervisor - Nursing Home ensures that patients' needs are met and evaluates nursing care and performance. Monitors patient recordkeeping activities for accuracy, completion, and compliance with all regulations. Additionally, Nursing Supervisor - Nursing Home requires a bachelor's degree of nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Supervisor - Nursing Home supervises a small group of nursing staff in an organization. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Using discretion and independent judgment and, under the general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, the House Supervisor is responsible for the effective supervision and coordination of the operational activities related to the safe and efficient delivery of patient care. This position generally has responsibility for a designated AM,PM, night and/or weekend shift. This position does not provide direct patient care.
Requirements:- Current CA RN license
- 3 years in a charge or nursing supervision or management position preferred
- BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
- MAB within 90 days from hire date.
