Nursing Supervisor - Nursing Home supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel in a nursing home. Participates in planning work of assigned units and coordinates activities with other patient care units and related departments. Being a Nursing Supervisor - Nursing Home ensures that patients' needs are met and evaluates nursing care and performance. Monitors patient recordkeeping activities for accuracy, completion, and compliance with all regulations. Additionally, Nursing Supervisor - Nursing Home requires a bachelor's degree of nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Supervisor - Nursing Home supervises a small group of nursing staff in an organization. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Title: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)
Job Duties: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operation of the unit.
Education Loan Assistance available
Sign-on bonus - $5,000 for FT and $3,000 for PT/On-Call. If hired by 3.30.2024, paid after 90 days or working 100 hours (whichever is greater).

Qualifications:
- Current licensure in California as an LPT or LVN
- Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
- Current CPR and first aid certifications.
- Knowledge of DBT, WRAP and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Principals preferred
