As a Unit Secretary, you will be responsible for assisting with routine patient care assignments, working in controlled and/or uncontrolled patient care situations, and assisting with/in established nursing care procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for assisting the nursing staff with the initiation of all orders from physicians, and for clerical duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager and/or Director.
