Nutrition Director directs and oversees all aspects of an organization's or institution's nutrition guidelines and initiatives. Oversees institution of basic nutrition plans including individualized menu plans and monitors intake and acceptance of meals, snacks, and supplements. Being a Nutrition Director monitors and ensures proper nutrition education is provided. May oversee menu planning or food service operations. Additionally, Nutrition Director requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Typically reports to top management. The Nutrition Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Summary:
This position is for a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Specialist. Reporting to a PHD level chemist who is also a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt, the successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in the sciences (chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, food science etc.) as well as quality designation in Six Sigma methodology or similar. They will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical or food (human or pet) based quality function. They will also understand and have participated in regulatory affairs as it relates to product compliance and registration. The successful candidate is looking for the next level in their careers. They will be responsible for leading and managing our branded quality program with a continuous improvement mindset.
