Seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
for a part-time role focused on contributing to a Weight Loss GLP-1 study. The
position will be predominantly remote, with 90% of duties performed via
Telehealth, requiring 10-16 hours per week. The ideal candidate will deliver
expert nutritional counseling and foster meaningful changes in health behaviors
among study participants.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct an initial in-person visit with each
patient to establish a tailored and comprehensive nutritional care plan,
necessitating that the RDN resides in the local area to ensure accessibility
for these appointments.
· Deliver consistent and high-quality follow-up
nutritional counseling and support sessions remotely via Telehealth, ensuring
the effectiveness and accessibility of dietary management.
· Employ evidence-based nutritional strategies,
adapting plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes in alignment with the
GLP-1 study protocols.
· Track patient progress diligently, providing
detailed reports to the research team and engaging in collaborative discussions
to enhance the study's nutritional interventions.
· Keep abreast of the latest developments in
nutrition and endocrinology, with an emphasis on GLP-1’s role in appetite
regulation and weight management.
· Maintain strict confidentiality of patient
information, documenting all interactions and adjustments throughout the
patient’s journey in the study.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition,
Dietetics, or related field.
· Active RDN certification with state-specific
licensure for the initial in-person visit.
· Demonstrated experience in weight management and
familiarity with GLP-1 related treatments.
· Proficiency in Telehealth technologies for the
delivery of remote counseling services.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to connect with diverse populations.
· Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
and a commitment to patient privacy.
Position Details:
· Part-time schedule: 10-16 hours per week.
· Each patient engagement will commence with an
in-person visit, followed by 12 remote counseling sessions via Telehealth.
