Nutrition Director jobs in Concord, NH
Nutrition Director directs and oversees all aspects of an organization's or institution's nutrition guidelines and initiatives. Oversees institution of basic nutrition plans including individualized menu plans and monitors intake and acceptance of meals, snacks, and supplements. Being a Nutrition Director monitors and ensures proper nutrition education is provided. May oversee menu planning or food service operations. Additionally, Nutrition Director requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Typically reports to top management. The Nutrition Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Nutrition Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. PRIMATY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist customers with product needs and answering questions
- Care of plants and greenery
- Cashing out customers with register system, stocking store, and loading store customers
- Other duties may include, loading bagged feed, shrubs, trees, plants, and related products for customers
- May also require operation of a hand truck in a safe manner and follow all safety rules
- Receive, accurately load, and rotate product
- Maintain cleanliness of the showroom floor and nursery
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified candidates must be able to lift 55 lbs. to a heigh for 50 inches
- Must be able to work in different environments
- Solid work history
- Outstanding customer service skills is a must
- Able to work independently as well as with others and supervision
