Nutrition Director directs and oversees all aspects of an organization's or institution's nutrition guidelines and initiatives. Oversees institution of basic nutrition plans including individualized menu plans and monitors intake and acceptance of meals, snacks, and supplements. Being a Nutrition Director monitors and ensures proper nutrition education is provided. May oversee menu planning or food service operations. Additionally, Nutrition Director requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Typically reports to top management. The Nutrition Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Livestock Nutrition Center specializes in blending customized rations, supplements and premixes to meet the specific nutritional needs of Livestock Producer's operations. We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the Producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.

Our focus is to provide customized feeding programs, nutritional products, and expert service to livestock producers that promote their long-term success and profitability.
The primary focus of the Merchandiser role is to assist and execute upon local and regional straight and direct ingredient sales and merchandising activity. This individual will assist with the supply chain and logistics of these goods, as well as product positions and quality, to fulfill our customer’s needs. This individual will effectively communicate with the Ingredient Sales Lead to ensure they are up to date on market prices and positions and communicate this information to others, as necessary.
Execute upon straight and direct ingredient sales and merchandising activity, to ensure all customer needs are met.
Work with the Ingredient Sales Lead to develop selling strategies by commodity and time of year.
When applicable, identify and pursue ingredient procurement opportunities.
When applicable, effectively negotiate with LNC suppliers, while maintaining excellent, long-term relationships with the supplier base.
Actively assess Risk within company commodity positions.
Maintain constant oversight of contracts and timely shipments with suppliers and customers.
Work with locations to minimize demurrage costs and help identify potential shrink issues.
Work with the Reseller market to optimize LNC locations and positions.
Have thorough understanding of all logistical processes, including barge, rail, and truck logistics.
Follow current company credit and receivables policies.
Understand and lead by example the Mission, Vision, and Values of Livestock Nutrition Center.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 3 Years’ experience in merchandising or ingredient sales.
Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
Must have excellent communication skills and provide superior customer service.
Strong negotiating skills.
Strong mathematical skills.
