Seeking a Director of Nutrition Services for a forty-seven bed Short Term Acute Care, For-Profit Hospital. This position reports to the CEO of the facility and directs the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with department and organizational objectives. Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. This position directs staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Ensures the department stays focused on their significant role in the continuum of care. Ensures all regulatory requirements and metrics are met on a continual basis. Ensures that food prepared and served to our patients and staff is high quality, attractive and nutritious, and meets all dietary guidelines. This position will also oversee catering for meetings and events. Reporting staff include Executive Chef, Cooks, Nutrition Aide, Clinical Dietician.
Must-Haves:
Three (3) years of Food Service experience.
HSD/GED required.
Two (2) years of previous significant leadership experience.
Certified Food Manager (CFM) preferred or required to obtain within eighteen (18) months of hire.
Salary negotiable based on experience; full benefits package plus $10,000.00 Sign-On bonus available for twenty-four-month commitment.
$ 1,000.00 Housing Allowance for up to twelve months upon relocation
