We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods from our warehouse to various destinations. The ideal candidate should have excellent time management skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
- Verify the accuracy of deliveries by comparing items to shipping documents and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and keep delivery vehicles clean and well-maintained.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, ensuring a safe driving record.
- Assist warehouse team with shipping and receiving as needed.
- Assist with special project and additional duties as related to position.
Requirements:- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role.
- Ability to lift heavy items and operate hand trucks and other equipment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with local routes and streets.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience in a delivery driver role.
- Knowledge of GPS devices for efficient route planning.
- Familiarity with delivery software and electronic signature capture.
