Obstetrics/Gynecology Director directs the staff and programs of the obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) department. Develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for OB/GYN services and programs. Being an Obstetrics/Gynecology Director ensures quality care for patients. Requires a MD degree. Additionally, Obstetrics/Gynecology Director typically reports to top management. Requires license to practice medicine. The Obstetrics/Gynecology Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.   • Responsibilities:

    Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Finance is responsible for the effective operations of finance and information technology, and responsible for building relationships with RYSE partners, vendors, and stakeholders. The DOF will be a participative manager to lead and develop an internal team to support finance, budgeting, human resources, and administration.

    • Analyze and present accrual and cash basis financial reports monthly
    • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting statements and oversee all financials to include filing: bi-monthly payroll, monthly; GET, financials, quarterly; TDI, WC audit, DCCA, AG Form 990, annually
    • Review and facilitate monthly or periodic billing of grants to funders
    • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess and any changes necessary
    • Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the Executive Director and Department Directors/Managers; administer and review financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes; and keep Senior Managers abreast of the organization’s financial status
    • Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting
    • Update and implement all necessary financial policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department’s overall policy and procedure manual
    • Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the Executive Director, Finance Committee, and the Board of Directors
    • Oversee Information Technology networks, systems, and staff by working with IT Consultant Vendor
    • Responsible for providing support to the Executive Director as requested
    • Facilitate reimbursements pursuant to the contract terms and grant administration policies

    Qualifications:

    • Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or related field (MBA, CPA preferred)
    • At least three years of professional experience; three plus years of broad financial and operations management experience preferred
    • Experience of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for either an organization, a division or significant program area
    • Ability to translate financial concepts to – and to effectively collaborate with – programmatic and fundraising colleagues who do not necessarily have finance backgrounds
    • Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; knowledge of accounting and reporting software
    • Successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment effectively
    • Proficiency at the advanced level in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages
    • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
    • High energy level, creativity, and flexibility
    • Positive attitude, with sensitivity to the needs of the clients and employees
    • Available to work Monday through Friday during normal business hours, but some activities may require evening and weekend work; Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, and evenings and weekends as required
    • Valid driver’s license

Subjected to outside environmental conditions.

    Work Environment:
    The employee may be in contact with individuals and families in crisis who may be ill, using
    substances and/or not attentive to personal health and safety for themselves. The employee may experience a number of unpleasant sensory demands associated with the client’s use of alcohol and drugs, and the lack of personal care. The employee must be ready to respond quickly and effectively to many types of situations, including crisis situations and potentially hostile situations.

    Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
