The Director of Nursing provides oversight and leadership of nursing services to maintain state and federal regulations;Joint Commission standards; evidence based clinical standards of nursing practice; quality outcomes; and, excellent customer satisfaction. Responsible for management of MDS coordinators. The primary schedule is weekdays, with hours to vary as needed by the facility. There is a rotating weekend call requirement.
Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Bachelors degree preferred. Prior long term care nursing experience is required with two years experience in LTC nursing management preferred. Ability to obtain a valid New York State Registered Nursing License by date of employment required. Health Care Provider BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
