Occupancy Specialist assists residents or applicants of housing programs with the goal of achieving maximum residency. Assesses eligibility and collects required information, such as income. Being an Occupancy Specialist provides information/customer service and maintains records. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Occupancy Specialist typically reports to a manager. Typically requires certification as an Occupancy Specialist (COS). The Occupancy Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Under the direction of senior systems and software engineers, the Engineer / Analyst will perform software development and integration of models into the distributed execution environment of IAMD M&S capabilities to include IAMDSIM and ETESIM. In addition to integration support, this position may include making updates and improvements to existing models of the various sensors, shooters, and BMC3 elements. Another key aspect to this position will require the individual to provide technical assistance in the preparation, conduct, post processing, results plotting/formatting, review, and reporting of analysis conducted utilizing IAMD’s M&S capabilities in support of the IFMC and IF/RCO government Project Offices.
The Engineer / Analyst must be able to serve as an individual contributor as directed by a technical lead, as well as work effectively in a team environment by collaborating with and interacting with other developers, engineers, and analysts.
