Maintains working relationships with local industries to ensure current issues are addressed and that the needs of the working community are met. Being an Occupational Medicine Director analyzes occupation related costs and case data; reports trends and status to management. Develops programs, guidelines, and standards for occupational service delivery that support the organization's overall strategy. Additionally, Occupational Medicine Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. The Occupational Medicine Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function.     Position Summary
    The Department of Sociology at Indiana University Kokomo invites interested and qualified applications to the adjunct instructor pool who can teach online, face-to-face, or both. Candidates should have experience using Canvas or another LMS. Possible courses include:
    • Introduction to Sociology
    • Introduction to Social Problems
    • Introduction to Social Services


    One of eight campuses of Indiana University, Indiana University Kokomo is a comprehensive non-residential campus located 50 miles north of Indianapolis in Kokomo, Indiana, a city with a population of about 60,000.     Basic Qualifications
    Master’s Degree or higher with 18 or more graduate hours in sociology or a closely related field from an accredited academic institution. Undergraduate teaching experience is preferred.
