Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of hospital leadership, the Marketing Representative supports the Business & Industry program (Workers’ Compensation Patient Engagement Program) for South Texas Health System and its affiliated services. The Marketing Representative develops and fosters a positive relationship with area employers and their employees and works with these local employers on collaborations with hospitals, occupational health, workers’ compensation, general health, and preventative health partnerships. The Marketing Representative advises physicians, physician offices/clinics, insurance companies, third party administrators, claims companies and hospital departments to increase engagement with community employers. The Marketing Representative may assist in client implementation, issue spotting and problem solving to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, health promotion/sports administration or related field. Background or experience in Health Education a plus.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills.
3. Ability to quickly learn new processes and workflows.
4. Effective in a variety of formal presentation settings.
5. Great active listening skills.
6. Ability to problem solve effectively and utilize critical thinking skills.
7. Strong customer service focus.
8. Knowledgeable regarding the STHS Market as well as services and products provided.
9. Very comfortable meeting with various community members.
10. Able to organize, prepare and attend a variety of events and gatherings.
11. Effective event planning skills.
EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
1. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
2. Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
