Occupational Medicine Director directs the design and implementation of occupational medicine service offerings that support the needs of local businesses and workers. Maintains working relationships with local industries to ensure current issues are addressed and that the needs of the working community are met. Being an Occupational Medicine Director analyzes occupation related costs and case data; reports trends and status to management. Develops programs, guidelines, and standards for occupational service delivery that support the organization's overall strategy. Additionally, Occupational Medicine Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. The Occupational Medicine Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function.     • Actively engaged, offsite Medical Director to help guide you with your practice
    • Established and supportive clinical and administrative team
    • Opportunity to practice medicine onsite at John Deere and in an established clinic with a top employer in the region
    • Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy to practice according to your preferences
    • Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients, plant leaders, and the community
    • Part-time position
    • John Deere hours: 6a-2:30pm
    • Occupational Health Clinic hours: 8a-4:30pm
    • 24 hours per week

    Responsibilities
    • Average patients/day: 12-15
    • Flexible scheduling of 3 8-hour shifts per week
    • No call requirement
    • Musculoskeletal sprains/strains, crush injuries, lacerations, and return to work physicals are most common visits
    • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
    • Provide the best outcome for every patient every time

    Qualifications
    • NP or PA
    • Board Certified
    • Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Iowa and Illinois
    • Certified to perform DOT Physicals (or willingness to obtain certification
    • Med, Ortho, or Sports Med experience strongly preferred; will consider FM or UC experience
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Eligible to work in the United States
    • Ability to work as a team member
