Posting Summary | The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks to employ an Associate Director of Endoscopy. This position offers the opportunity for the potential faculty member to engage in research and join a team of gastroenterologists providing clinical services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) and at the academic practices of the medical school. As the Associate Director of Endoscopy, the selected candidate will lead and give oversight to the Endoscopy Unit. Under the Director, they will help develop, guide, manage, implement, monitor and enforce the clinical, administrative, educational and research activities of the unit to ensure efficient, timely and high-quality delivery of patient care services. They will also be responsible for providing endoscopy and other gastroenterological services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, which may include: new gastroenterology consultations, follow-up visits with a focus on biliary, pancreatic, esophageal diseases, and care of conditions potentially requiring interventional endoscopy or advanced diagnostic endoscopy. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at New Brunswick is part of the RWJBarnabas Health System.
