Occupational Medicine Director jobs in New London, CT
Occupational Medicine Director directs the design and implementation of occupational medicine service offerings that support the needs of local businesses and workers. Maintains working relationships with local industries to ensure current issues are addressed and that the needs of the working community are met. Being an Occupational Medicine Director analyzes occupation related costs and case data; reports trends and status to management. Develops programs, guidelines, and standards for occupational service delivery that support the organization's overall strategy. Additionally, Occupational Medicine Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. The Occupational Medicine Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Position: RN – Occupational health, Urgent Care, ER or school nurse
Location: Waterford, CT
Status: Per diem (this is long-term); Also need about 5 weeks (2-5 days/wk) coverage starting in September/October (this coverage is days, evenings and nights)
Clinic Type: Nuclear Industry (Work with other fabulous nurses!)
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
Duties:
- Evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses
- Medical screening and surveillance
Requirements:
- Occupational health, urgent care, school nursing or emergency room experience
- Valid CT RN licensure
- Current CPR
- Strong communication and computer skills
Pay: $45.00 - $47.00 per hour

- Night shift
