Location: Willimantic, CT
Job Responsibilities: As a physician medical director, you will provide a full range of primary care services: from physical exams and therapeutic and surgical procedures, to patient education, and ensuring continuity of care. You will provide leadership and oversight of medical care at the Willimantic site in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and the Chief Quality Officer.
Requirements: Experience in Ambulatory primary care setting preferred. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Interest in serving low income-multicultural populations. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. The ability to establish and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers, and to function in a calm manner during stressful and emergency situations. Demonstrates the flexibility and resilience in response to changing clinical or administrative environments. Must have valid driver’s license from State of residence. Must be able to transport oneself within the service area.
