POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of your job is to return patients to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community’s administration as well as Policies and Procedures.
Education & Responsibilities:
•Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college. Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
•Current and valid license granted from state of employment.
•Treats residents under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
•Maintain appropriate accurate records on all residents on caseload.
•Keeps Occupational Therapist and other health team members appraised of resident’s progress and changes in function.
•Modifies treatment program only under the direction of the licensed OT.
Experience:
•Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but not required.
