Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy License in NY (active occupational therapist)

• Compassionate and comfortable working with geriatric and/or pediatric populations

• New-grad occupational therapists are welcome! We offer a VERY strong and structured mentorship program - make sure to inquire about this!

Additional Information

• We work with Medicare - eligible geriatric patients.
• We  also work in pediatrics via OPWDD program
• Occupational Therapists can choose to accept geriatric and pediatric patients on a case-by-case basis.

Expectations

• Occupational therapist should be able to travel between the homes of patients in geriatric and pediatric populations
• Provide a level of care that you would want your loved ones to receive!!
• Timely submission of documentation using our chosen EMR, WebPT
• Good communication between the front desk and therapists is very important. We use text/email for most communication
• Eagerness to progress their patients to their highest potential. Help us debunk the myth that homecare therapy is poor and lacks skill :)
