Occupational Therapy Supervisor jobs in Lorain, OH
Occupational Therapy Supervisor supervises the delivery of occupational therapy programs that help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities. Provides guidance and monitors the performance of the occupational therapy staff. Being an Occupational Therapy Supervisor studies, evaluates, and records patients' activities and progress. May require a master's degree. Additionally, Occupational Therapy Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Typically requires Occupational Therapist certification. The Occupational Therapy Supervisor supervises a group of professional level staff. May also be a level above a supervisor. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. What you'll need:
- Active Texas Occupational Therapy license
- Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience
- Familiarity with Oasis and HCHB software (preferred, but not required; training provided)
- Willingness to travel between patient homes (mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate)
- Availability to work a 5x8-hour day shift schedule
