Occupational Therapy Supervisor jobs in Provo, UT
Occupational Therapy Supervisor supervises the delivery of occupational therapy programs that help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities. Provides guidance and monitors the performance of the occupational therapy staff. Being an Occupational Therapy Supervisor studies, evaluates, and records patients' activities and progress. May require a master's degree. Additionally, Occupational Therapy Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Typically requires Occupational Therapist certification. The Occupational Therapy Supervisor supervises a group of professional level staff. May also be a level above a supervisor. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Hours: We have ~8 hours available every week for PRN. This can be spread out among any number of weekdays, treatment is provided between the hours of 8 AM and 7 PM
Wages: We are able to offer a range of $30-$33/hour depending on experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Requirements:
- Current Utah - (Certified) Occupational Therapy Assistance (OTA/COTA) license in good standing
- Learn and implement local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care
Job Duties
- Occasionally treat clinically complex patients
- Provide competent care for geriatric patients
- Provide adaptive ADL-retraining
- Learn documentation process and maintain productivity standards
- Effectively communicate with other team members and patients
