Convergix Automation - Salesforce Administrator and Application Analyst

  • The Salesforce Administrator and Application Analyst will lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes including Sales, Application Engineering, Marketing, Training, and our core business processes. This role is part project manager, administrator, and analyst. The Salesforce Administrator and Application Analyst will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the platform; additionally other business applications as needed.


    What would a typical day look like?

    • Provide timely tier two support for end-users (local & remote) in a courteous, and professional manner; inclusive of Salesforce and Enterprise Applications support queues
    • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
    • Coordinate the evaluation, scoping, and completion of new development requests for managed applications
    • Liaise between IT, Sales, Marketing, Applications Engineering, and Accounting to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change activities following the Technology Project Request process
    • Establish, maintain, and follow a mutually beneficial SDLC process
    • Be the subject matter expert on core application functionality and architecture for managed applications

    What qualifies you for this opportunity?

    • Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
    • Salesforce Administrator and Platform App Builder certified
    • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
    • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
    • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
    • Strong data management abilities
    • Documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
    • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
    • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
    • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service Lighting and Pardot are preferred
    • Experience with industrial automation processes
    • Experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
    • Experience administering SAP Concur
    • Defining, leading, and maintaining application roadmap(s)
    • Reliable transportation and an ability to travel; Salesforce Administrator and Application Analysts at Convergix should have the ability to travel within the US and Canada

    • Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
